After travelling in Europe a Swedish consumer flew from Keflavík, Iceland to Orlando, Florida. However his suitcase did not join him until he was home again in Sweden. Due to this he incurred some cost, and a portion of it was not covered by his insurance. After ECC-Iceland contacted the airline it became clear that the case had not been checked-in with the Icelandic airline and the consumer didn´t have a receipt, so it was a bit unclear at what airport the case had been lost. However the airline offered to pay 30.000 ISK, which was a large portion of the cost not covered by the insurance.
